At Red Rose English, our philosophy is: performance-focused, personalised, and impactful.

The company was set up by Steve Wilcock, a Cambridge-qualified native speaker from Lancashire — England’s historic 'Red Rose County'.  Universally, the rose symbolises pride and passion — values that define our approach to professional English training.

Steve delivers a distinctive, results-driven perspective to English language training.  He was raised in a family of language educators, excelled academically in languages, holds a Master’s degree in psychology and brings unique experience to business English training as a former professional ice hockey player.
